ALL THINGS TRANCE, TECHNO & HARD-DANCE
I got the dj bug when i was 14/15 when i went to my first under 18's rave @ Bowlers Trafford Park, and have been hooked ever since. I was already in to hardcore and other forms of dance music through listening to Stu Allen on KEY 103 every week religiously,which i was introduced to by my older brother Dan. I always used to nick his Prodigy, Stu Allen and maximes tapes and was soon addicted to the art of mixing. all i could think about in school was becoming a professional dj and il never forget the reaction i got when i told my careers officerwhat i wanted to do for a living, she looked embarassed for me to say the least. after leaving school the first thing i did was get 2 jobs so i could get my first set of decks and it was around that time i really started to get in to trance in a big way.i am a self taught dj and it took me ages but eventually i learned to mix by studying compilations by the likes of dave pearce, judge jules ect and a few years later i was heavilly influenced by eddie halliwell, fake dj, barry connell and jordan suckley in the way advanced trickery should be done.
fast forward to 2008 i set up a trance- hard dance night up in manchester called FLUX 22 with my good friend helen cartwright, where iv played alongside some of the scenes most exiting up and coming talent . in july i reached the final of the gravity/sinergy dj competition and gained a residency in the process, playing gigs for gravity in accrington and a series of forthcoming 4 dex n fx sets for sinergy @ JABEZ CLEGG manchester.im also very proud to say i have been signed to SIN DJ MANAGEMENT alongside some immensly talented dj/producers such as IAN M, EM EXTREME, BURG, MK - AUDIO, FLASH & LORD K

as for 2009, who knows whats gonna happen. i was planning to attend manchester midi school in april to do a music production course in order to raise my game to the next level, which i was really exited about, however i have just found that im going to be made redundant from my day job im march, so it looks like il be forced to postpone that for a while.
as a result iv decided to go and work in ibiza for the summer while the opportunity is there but before i go, i do hope to get round to some digital performances via ableton live.
i am also keen to put on a series of free parties in manchester as im sure everyones noticed that hardly anyone can afford to go out clubbing much at the moment including myself, so look out for those, what could be more fun than a free trance party !!
